This was one rare opportunity to try out my newly brought canon 80d camera, canon ex600-rt and kit lens inside a temple.
The photos taken were in a hindu temple that adorns multiple God and Goddesses in colourful attire and accessories.
The biggest challenge was how to use the flash without over exposing the white marble that the statues were built with. I knew I had to use the flash to boost the presence of indoor lights within the temple.
The flash was angled such that it will lighten the face not directly but have enough effect for the camera to capture the details of the face and colors of the accessories.
I used a neutral camera setting to avoid too much colour vibrance (easily by added post processing).
I think the kit lens did its best as it could with the challenging light condition inside the building.
Pictures were captured in raw for full post processing later.
