Newborn photo session in studio with older siblings

This 3 week old arrived with her older two sibling sisters and parents. Parents were keen to get a few poses for all three sisters. What made the session bit challenging is the middle sister who had her preferences and frequent emotional outbursts.

Older sister was absolutely wonderful in following instructions. The middle sibling was not that old that she could hold the baby for the shot. So I had to rely on the older sister for holding and posing the baby at a camera friendly angle.

The second sibling was positioned to accessorize the frame because many times she would not want to look at the camera or looking elsewhere.

I had to make awkward sound to get her attention or get some smile out of her for the picture. Kids at this ages get bored very easily. So it is very important that the photographer holds her calm and be creative to the participants would be keen and attentive during the session.

I got some beautiful shots of 3 sisters that the family will enjoy a life time.
