She was like a cute sleeping doll when arrived at my studio, tucked cozily warm inside the car seat. During the cold winter months I pre warm my studio to at least 74 degrees C if not more. Some babies are very comfortable at that temperature and some requires a bit more. I also keep an additional heater near the baby changing station.
The session started with the same dress she had on. I like to give some extra time so the baby can adjust well in the new environment. After that she got swaddled in wraps and photos were taken in variety of poses.
She was awake most of the time and needed to be held by mom or dad. She took a couple of feed but was still not ready to sleep. She was awake and happy.
This was the perfect opportunity to get some closeup shots. The last part of the session, I had put on her a ballerina tutu with a lace vest. She absolutely loved to wear that.
I accomplished to get some adorable shots with the parents holding her and some solo portraits.
