Managing a large group of people and synchronizing them for the camera shutter can be quite challenging. Event photography can be very dynamic and needs a wll planned execution from the photographer ’s end.
This may include letting people know in advance when their turn will be, setting out rules very clearly about camera angle and where to look.
Another important thing to keep in mind is the lighting of the venue. Certain can be indoors and at night which means the photographer has to be equipped with lenses meant for low light conditions, extra flashes or light source. Even during post processing keep in mind to tweek the light balance to give more realistic colors to the pictures.
This event was during the day with plenty of natural lights just outside the venue hall. I had to call the groups outside for a quick capture or two. I used flash with my camera for the indoor pics and made sure I was clicking from a reasonable distance from the subjects to keep them sharp and in focus.
